Gaming Anniversaries October 15- Make My Video: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch
Released October 15, 1992- Make My Video: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch
Make My Video: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch rapped into the North American market on this day in 92′. For the Sega CD.
In the Make My Video series, players will choose between three different songs and are tasked with making a video for them using only stock footage that is supplied. Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch includes the songs “Good Vibrations” I Need Money” and “You Gotta Believe”. I can only imagine the developers really had to believe that this was a good idea. Else, maybe they just said “Yeah I need money too” Either way, the games were universally considered absolute crap fests,
Make My Video: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch scored the lowest of any video game ever. Achieving a score of 0 out of 10 in Game Informer. Additionally, it is still considered as #8 in the top 10 worst video games of all time. It truly is hard to imagine there is anything worse than this.
