Gaming Anniversaries April 21- Duck Hunt
Released first in Japan on April 21 1984- Duck Hunt
The iconic Nintendo game Duck Hunt came out in 1984 in Japan for the Famicom system. Later it was released as a launch game for the NES in the US.
Duck Hunt required an NES Zapper to play. Meaning that players who had later purchased other version of the NES system, would need an additional accessory to play. The game play is simple, but very addictive. Aim the zapper at the TV and shoot the ducks that fly across the screen. Most remembering the dog that snickered at you whenever you missed a duck. To this day, the game is remembered and loved by gamers and lapsed gamers alike.
