Gaming Anniversaries February 18- Bucky O’Hare
Released February 18, 1993- Bucky O’Hare
Bucky O’Hare blasted into the North American market on this day in 1993. For the NES!
Players will control Bucky as he attempts to stop the Toad Armada from destroying the Aniverse! However, their plan is delayed when their ship is attacked and all of his comrades are taken, prisoner. It’s now up to Bucky to save them, and the universe in one fell swoop!
Bucky will travel to different planets, taking on swarms of fierce enemies. He can shoot with his blaster weapon and jump. Additionally, his skills can be multiplied by charging for an even more powerful jump or shot. Moreover, he can collect new weapons from his saved comrades along the way.
The game is quite a bit of fun, even now. Sadly though, its also quite expensive. Commanding prices of almost US $150. Folks without deep pockets can find it in ROMsets, but we aren’t saying you should.
