Gaming Anniversaries April 5- Aerobiz
Released April 5, 1992- Aerobiz
Aerobiz flew into the Japanese market on this day in 1992. For the Super Famicom!
Aerobiz is a simulation game for the Super Famicom unlike any other!
In this one, you play as the CEO of an airline with the end goal being to become the biggest and best airline in the world! To that end, you must connect all 22 cities with their air routes, keep gaining profit and reach the required quota of passengers every day. However, not meeting profit margins or gaining those passengers after either 1 year or 32 years, its game over. Therefore, players must negotiate for open air routes, buy hotels and even pay attention to natural disasters that may occur!
Occasionally, the Olympics may be hosted in one of your cities, so players must ensure they have enough hotels and planes to accommodate a sudden influx of passengers or its also game over. Aerobiz is one of the most interest simulation type games of this era. Meaning its definitely worth your while to give it a shot!. What’s more, is that all of the planes found in the game are based on real-life models of planes in the real world. How cool is that?
