Combining two hobbies to enhance your experience!

3D printing is one of my favorite things to do. Right next to playing video games and collecting things.

It should really be no surprise that the two hobbies can easily go hand in hand with each other. I have multiple 3D printers, and until recently I hadn’t really considered it.

Until my wife asked me for the Skyward Sword HD Switch accessories. With this easy-to-print accessory kit, you simply slide your JoyCon into them and you get a very close to 1:1 ratio of movements on screen and in real life. Of course, these accessories aren’t the only thing you can print. Maybe you’re exclusively a retro game collector and you’d like to have some displays to show off your favorite or rarest games and handhelds, controllers, or anything else. You can find some great displays right here!

Still, playing on a PlayStation Vita but find that it’s a little bit cramped in your hand? Enhance the experience with this easy-to-print gadget that slides onto the system instantly making it much more comfortable.

Of course, there is so much to print. From your favorite characters to displays and mounts, to signs and other things. If you’re a game collector a 3D printer and a little bit of know-how can give you the game room you’ve dreamed of, the accessories you want to use, or the signs and displays that would regularly cost big money.

3D printing isn’t for everyone, however, it is getting cheaper and more effective at recreating broken or missing parts such as battery doors for GameBoys (where have they all gone??) as well as replacement parts for vintage toys or other collectibles.
