3 Count Bout is a fighting game created by SNK for their own hardware. The Neo-Geo.
The game consists of 5 championships reveling diffrent types of fighting such as wrestling, street fighting and even an electrical match that shocks the player or the opponent dependent on how they’re doing.
The game featured a wide array of moves for the user to choose both simple and a little more complex. Hitting the joystick twice in one direction allows the character to run while other moves cause you to mash certain buttons in the correct order to accomplish. Not unlike fighting games of today.
The Neo-Geo’s limited buttons made the feat slightly more difficult than games before it or long afterwards.
