Are you excited for a Secret of Mana remake?

Secret of Mana

A remake of the classic SNES RPG “Secret of Mana” is coming

Fans of the original game, Secret of Mana, on the SNES should be pleased.

Secret of ManaSquare Enix announced yesterday via press release that a remake is coming. Sadly, it doesn’t appear to be coming on Nintendo consoles. Weird huh? It seems like it would be a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch. Especially considering it was for Nintendo consoles in the beginning. However, it could be worse!

The game will feature updated visuals and gameplay elements to bring Secret of Mana to the modern world. Additionally, the game will include a new version of the original musical score. Which was fantastic in its own right.

Secret of Mana tells the story of Randi, Primm and Popoi as they battle a treacherous empire in order to reclaim the power of Mana and bring the world back to order. Originally released in 1993, the game was well ahead of its time back then.

Secret of ManaThe game was hugely successful on the Super Nintendo, so it comes as no surprise that they would want to bring some version of it to other systems. Of course, Nintendo fans aren’t totally left in the dust. As the original game is included in the Super Nintendo Classic Edition. If you can find one!

Secret of Mana will release on February 15, 2018, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita (SCORE!) and on Steam for PC. Preorders on PlayStation Store or on Steam will receive exclusive costumes and wallpapers. For more info on Preorders, visit SecretofMana.com
