Gaming Anniversaries April 26- Spy vs Spy
Released April 26 1986- Spy Vs Spy
Spy Vs Spy released first in Japan in 1986 for the Famicom.
Based on MAD’s cartoon strip Spy Vs Spy which is aboutĀ the antics of two spies constantly trying to kill each other with numerous traps and weapons.
The gameplay is simple but fun. Playing as a spy you try to try to collect the secret items scattered throughout the game. However, you also must avoid the enemy player. Finishing an area leads to the next stage. As you progress, the screens begin to grow and more levels appear adding intensity to the title.
The gameĀ is also a fantastic example of a multiplayer game on the NES and is still loved long into today.
