Return Fire is a Top Down shooter in a “Capture The Flag” style for the Sony PlayStation. Players use one of four vehicles to take each other out and steal their flags. A critical success in its time and still holds up for its unique game play today!
The game has some distinct features. Players will run out of fuel or ammunition and need to refill at depot tents. If a land vehicle runs out of fuel, the driver will stop and run away. Yet, the helicopter cannot refill on anything unless you fly it back to base.
Return Fire was first released for the 3DO in July of 1995 and later was ported to the PlayStation on April 12 of 1996.
